The 2015 tradional martial art festival kicks off in Tien Giang

The ceremony of the 2015 provincial tradional martial art festival has just opened at the provicial stadium in March 2. Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho Dac Viet Thanh and representatives of many agencies and organizations in the province attdended.

There are 111 athletes attdended of 11 districts, towns and city.

The boxers competed for 2 contents: antagonists and kickboxing for both men and women.

This festival aims at creating conditions for the development of movement of  practiced martial art in teenage force, students in the province as well as recruiting high-achieving athletes to attend The 8th National Sport Congress 2015 in An Giang province.

The festival will run until March 5, 2015.
