Entitled ‘Ho Chi Minh’s Aspirations’, the event featured songs and dances on the life and revolutionary career of the President.

The programme began with pictures broadcast live from Hoang Tru village, the hometown of the Vietnamese hero of national liberation and great man of culture.

Documentaries recapped the President’s path to national salvation departing from Vietnam’s Nha Rong wharf for London (UK), Paris (France) and Moscow (Russia) — a journey bringing a patriotic man to communism to find ways for national independence and liberation, and happiness for the people.

The programme wrapped up with images of Vietnam on the way to development with a young, energetic generation of Vietnamese, who have studied and followed Uncle Ho’s moral example and are ready to fulfill his aspirations for a prosperous country.
