Tien Giang's fine art competion concludes

The third Tien Giang’s fine art competion in 2015 has just conclued at July 28 after two months of launching. The competion was organized by Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tien Giang in collaboration with the provincial Literature and Art Association. The organization received 39 attending works of 24 authors including 12 best works.

As result, the competion had not the first prize. The organization awarded three second prizes including works: “Gift of grandmother” (Phuc An author, oil painting), “Faces” (Le Hong Thai author, wooden statue) and “To prepair for offshore” (Vo Van Hai, oil painting).

Three third prize were awarded to Chau Ngoc Hung author with “The factory of repairing work boats” work (wood engraving) and Nguyen Kong Tam author with “Twelve animals designation” work (synthetic coconut fiber). In addition, the orgaization also awared seven consolation prizes to authors: Pham Van Khoe, Thanh Tien, Vo Thanh Son, Pham Thi Van, Duy Bao Viet, Vo Tran Thanh Huong and Nguyen Van Thom.
