The ancient village festival at Dong Hoa Hiep (Cai Be district) opens

On November 11, the second ancient village festival at Dong Hoa Hiep (Cai Be district) in 2015 was opened at Dong Hoa Hiep villiage by Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Cai Be district People’s Committee.

Deputy Director General Department of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) Nguyen Quoc Hung, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Le Hong Quang, Deputy Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Tran Thanh Duc, representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Japan, etc… and people, tourists attended this event.

Deputy Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc awarded the recognition of provincial historical-culcutural relic to the ancient houses of Le Quang Xoat and Vo Van Vo.

The second ancient village festival at Dong Hoa Hiep (Cai Be district) in 2015 took place in three days (from November 6 to 8, 2015) with many diverse activities such as decoration, showcasing tourism landscape in the ancient houses , discussion about community tourism development and heritage management, performing arts, traditional music performance...  The festival is one of the opening events to respond to "National Tourism Year 2016-Kien Giang"of Tien Giang province.

Besides, the second ancient village festival at Dong Hoa Hiep (Cai Be district) in 2015 also introduced, promoted many potential the tourism products of Dong Hoa Hiep acient village, simultaneously combined with the conservation and preservation of ancient houses in cultural heritage tourism.
