Photo contest to capture Vietnam's beauty today
A photo contest themed ‘Vietnam Today’ recently kicked off for all professional and amateur photographers from at home and abroad.

The contest is open for all those have a passion for photography and travelling, who are encouraged to capture Vietnam’s tourist attractions, historical and cultural sites, people’s daily life, festivals, customs and cuisine of Vietnamese ethnic groups, and traditional craft villages.
Entries should be sent to Vietnam Tourism Review, 4 Lieu Giai Street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi no later than May 31, 2016.
One first, two second, three third and five consolation prizes worth VND 60 million (US$2,660) in total will be presented to the top entries.
The contest has been organised since 1990 by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism in co-ordination with Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and Vietnam Tourism Review.
It aims to promote the land and people of Vietnam to domestic and foreign visitors while enriching the repertoire of photos for publications on advertising Vietnam’s tourism, thus attracting more visitors to the country.
In the most recent edition in 2013, the contest attracted around 6,460 entries from 590 entrants, and 12 prizes were awarded.
