6th Da Lat flower festival wraps up

The 6th Da Lat flower festival has concluded with a special art performance in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.

Deputy Chairman of the Da Lat city People’s Committee Nguyen Vinh Phuc said that the five-day festival themed “Da Lat - Multitude of flower colours,” drew about 450,000 visitors, exceeding the number of arrivals during the previous events.

The art performance titled “Da Lat - Beautiful flower seasons” was put on as a farewell act, and thanked local and foreign tourists who came to the festival.

The festival highlighted the city's horticulture and honored outstanding businesses and farmers involved in the industry.

The biennial festival aims to promote the trademark of Da Lat, a city famous for its tourism and to honor the flower growers and Da Lat’s flower value to domestic and foreign friends.

Lam Dong is currently home to nearly 7,250 hectares of flowers with a yield of nearly 2.4 billion flowers per year.
