Duan wins third stage of domestic cycling event

Le Van Duan won the third stage of the Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Cycling Tournament yesterday.

Duan, of VUS Ho Chi Minh City, clocked a top speed of 42.814 kmh during the 107km stage from Sóc Trăng to Ca Mau City. He completed the event with a time of 2:29.57.

Nguyen Thanh Tam of An Giang and Đo Tuan Anh of Đong Thap were the runners-up.

 

Although Nguyen Trưong Tai of VUS Ho Chi Minh City didn’t rank in the top three, he still retained the yellow jersey. With Tai and Duan’s effort, their team took the lead in the team rankings.

 

Today, cyclists will compete in the fourth 178km stage from Ca Mau to Can Tho City.
