Holding solemnly 142th anniversary of the national hero Nguyen Huu Huan's death

On the morning of May 9, Tien Giang province held solemnly 142th anniversary of the national hero Nguyen Huu Huan's death (April 14, 1875 – April 14, 2017, on lunar year).

Chairman of Tien Giang provincal People’s Committee Le Van Huong, leaders of Cho Gao district, Hoa Tinh commune and crowed people, etc… attended this event.

At the anniversary, Chairman of Cho Gao district People’s Committee Le Van My reviewed the life and career of the national hero in early days of the resistance war against the French colonialists more than 142 years ago.

He had set a shining example of patriotism and strong will to fight against invaders and defend the country which has been preserved and promoted by younger generations.

These attandance offered incense at the tomb and the temple dedicated to the hero.
