Sen village festival celebrates President Ho Chi Minh's birthday
‘Le hoi Lang Sen’ (Sen Village Festival 2017) officially opened in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, the central province of Nghe An on May 17 as part of activities to mark the 127th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.

Major activities of the festival include a traditional music festival, a ceremony to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue in Vinh city and an incense offering ceremony at Kim Lien Relic site in Nam Dan district, a youth festival and a sports competition.
The highlight of this year's festival is a public arts festival drawing the participation of 10 mass art troupes from 10 cities and provinces across the country.
The Sen Village Festival offers an opportunity for visitors from across the country and international friends to understand more about the life and political career of President Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s preeminent hero and a world cultural celebrity.
It also helps Nghe An introduce the beauty of natural landscapes and local people together with its rich culture.
