Tien Giang province to organize the third Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village festival

On the afternoon of November 3, Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincal People's Committee (PPC) Tran Thanh Duc with the members of the Provincial Organizing Committee of big festivals worked with Cai Be district’s leaders about the plan to organize the third Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village festival.

At the working session, the Tien Giang province Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has implemented the plan, the preparation and activities of the third Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village festival in 2017.

The festival is expected to take place in three days from November 1-3, 2017 with many main activities such as promotion of potentials and products of Dong Hoa Hiep village tourism; to decorate the art in the ancient house; to discuss on conservation and development of Dong Hoa Hiep village as a typical community tourism product of the province; to release lights on the river; to perform arts, songs and singers; to organize many activities coordinated b the Japanese side, etc…

Deputy Chairman of the PPC Tran Thanh Duc agreed with the organizational plan of the province as well as the Cai Be district. To celebrate the festival successfully, impressively, safely and economically, he asked the Provincial Organizing Committee and Cai Be district to coordinate well with the plan, in which to pay attention to a decoration, attentive events, ensuring environmental hygiene, security and order, etc...  After the working session, the delegation took a practical tour of the festival venue to have a good preparation.
