On the occasion of organizing the third ancient village of Dong Hoa Hiep tourism festival in 2017, the Tien Giang province Tourism Investment and Trade Promotion Center organized the contest "Choosing beautiful photos of Tien Giang province tourism in 2017". It aimed at publishing promotional materials for ancient village of Dong Hoa Hiep tourism festival and introducing Tien Giang tourism spots to tourists to understand more about the tourism potential of the province, creating favorable conditions for tourism development.

After launching the contest, the Center received nearly 100 photographic works of authors in and outside Tien Giang province. Although the large number of photos as well as topics, the number of photos to meet the criteria of the Organizing Committee was limited. Therefore, the Tien Giang province Tourism Investment and Trade Promotion Center selected the standard images and negotiated with the authors to buy these works to make Tien Giang tourism publication in the future.
