The Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village honoured as national relic site

On the evening of 1-12, in Dong Hoa Hiep Commune (Cai Be District), the Tien Giang People's Committee held the opening ceremony of the third festival of Culture - Tourism at the ancient village Dong Hoa Hiep in 2017.

The festival tooken place in 3 days, from December 1 - 3, with many contents of varous activities, which were bold of cultural identity - ethnic Vietnam, associated with the cultural and artistic activities of Japan. This created the joyful and exciting festival, expressing the spirit of solidarity, friendly, hospitably, contributing on protecting the landscape and create typical and diversified tourist products to attract domestic and foreign tourists.

The festival was also a chance for the people of Cai Be district in particular and the people of Tien Giang province to exchange and entertain; at the same time, realizing the tourism development potentials of Cai Be district in the linkage and development of Tien Giang province with the Dong Thap Muoi sub-region and other provinces in the region; simultaneously, to promote the cooperation between Vietnam and Japan to become more and more sustainable development.

On this occasion, Dong Hoa Hiep Village was also honored to receive the national grade certificates and the Certificate of Culture and Tourism Festival of Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village as the intangible cultural heritage of the province.
