Vietjet named transport sponsor of Miss Vietnam 2018

ABO/NDO - Budget carrier Vietjet Air has signed an agreement with the organisers of Miss Vietnam 2018 to become the official transport sponsor of the beauty contest for the fourth consecutive year.

The contestants and organisers will travel on Vietjet flights during the course of the pageant, while the beauty queen can avail of free flights with the airline for one year.

The final night of Miss Vietnam 2018 is scheduled for September 22 in Ho Chi Minh City, with the qualifying rounds taking place in Cua Lo for contestants from the north and Quy Nhon for those from the south.

This year’s contest is its 16th edition and marks the 30th anniversary of the first Miss Vietnam pageant.

In addition to Miss Vietnam, Vietjet has also sponsored other cultural, sporting and entertainment events, such as Miss Universe Vietnam, the Da Lat Flower Festival, and the Vietnam Balloon Fiesta, amongst others.

The carrier has frequently opened new routes, increased its fleet and improved its services in order to meet the demand of every passenger.
