ABO - On August 3, the Tien Giang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism deployed the plan on organizing many activities of the festival to commemorate the anniversary of the national hero Truong Dinh‘s death.

The ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of the national hero Truong Dinh‘s death is recognized as a national non-material heritage so the Organizing Committee of the Tien Giang province's major holidays will directly undertake the organization work.

Go Cong town and Go Cong Dong district, Go Cong Tay district and Tan Phu Dong district as assigned by the province will undertake some activities of the festival and organize the commemoration at the monument and tomb, temple of the national hero Truong Dinh with the province together.

The Tien Giang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism requested many functional branches and People's Committees of districts to carry out the activities and ceremonies to meet the requirement according to the task assigned to prepare the preparation work for the ceremony.

The ceremony to commemorate the anniversary of the national hero Truong Dinh‘s death will be held on August 20 in Go Cong town and Go Cong Dong district. Every year, this festival attracts thousands of people to attend, becoming one of the important festivals of Go Cong region.
