The Spring Flower Street 2019 to locate on the provincial center square

ABO - On November 21, the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee held a working session on organizing the activities to mark 340th anniversiry of My Tho urban with the cultural, sports and tourism festival 2019.

At the meeting, the consulting unit  presented the options for organizing the Spring Flower Street 2019 at the provincial center square.

Accordingly, the flower street is divided into 4 segments, each section will have different themes. Next to the flower street, on the Lunar New Year 2019, many activities as the food street; artistic lighting, etc ... will be taken place at th provincial center square.

Deputy Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc basically agreed with the idea of building the flower street; at the same time, he asked the consulting unit to complete the plan according to suggestions of departments.

He said that the arrangement of flowers must have themes throughout many next years, making use of materials in the spirit of savings.

The deploy of flower street construction had not to change the structure of the square; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the consulting unit to complete the details of the flower street plan.

The festival will take place in mid-January 1919, according to the consulting unit, the opening ceremony will take place on the evening of January 1 with the participation of about 700 delegates.

Beside many activities to promote and introduce My Tho city, Tien Giang province, there will have the low-level fireworks performance after the opening ceremony.
