The eighth National Games – 2018 opens in Ha Noi

ABO - On the evening of November 25, the opening ceremony of the eighth National Games – 2018 was held at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

This event saw attendance of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Politburo member and Secretary of Hanoi municipal Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai, among others.

The eighth National Games – 2018 takes place from November 15 to December 10 in Ha Noi, Hoa Binh province and Khanh Hoa province with 36 sports.

There are 7,000 athletes, 2,500 coaches and 2,200 referees from 63 provinces and cities as well as two army and police teams participated in the eighth National Games – 2018.

The athlete of Tien Giang province attended the eighth National Games – 2018 with more than 100 athletes, coaches and referees, competing in 9 sports with the goal of 5-6 gold medals.
