Tien Giang sports delegation has the first gold medal

ABO - On December 8, athlete Tran Thi Oanh Nhi of the Boxing team successfully won the 81 kg division to bring home the first gold medal for the Tien Giang sports team at the eighth National Games – 2018. In addition, athlete Bui Thi Hong Tuoi won a silver medal of 69 kg division; Nguyen Thi Kim Tam and Dang Thi Cam Tu brought 2 bronze medals.

The Weightlifting team also won four silver medals including Huynh Thi Nho at 90 kg division, Kien Sinh at over 105 kg division and three bronze medals of Vuong Truong Khoi at 94 kg division and Ho Thi Ha Phuong at 90 kg division.

On December 6, the Vovinam team also won a silver medal of athlete Le Son Bac in 68 kg division. Up to December 8, Tien Giang sports delegtion won 1 gold medal, 7 silver medals and 10 bronze medals.
