Festival looks to promote Tien Giang province image

ABO - The Tien Giang provincial People's Committee held a press conference about the Tien Giang Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival 2019, on January 3, with the participation of many central and local press agencies.

Accordingly, the Festival will take place from from January 11-14 with many activities such as: fairs, trade exhibitions, cuisine; cultural activities - arts, fitness - sports, tourism, etc...

The opening ceremony of the Festival will take place at 11 pm on January 11 at the provincial center square of Tien Giang province with a scale of about 1,100 delegates.

The closing ceremony of the Festival will take place at the Tien river embankment on the evening of January 14 with a special performance of the flower boat with the theme of "Tien Giang wonderful experience". Each flower boat will bring a special theme to promote Tien Giang's image to domestic and foreign tourists.

The festival is organized to celebrate the 89th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - 2019) and welcome the traditional Tet of the nation – the Ky Hoi Spring 2019.

The Festival aims at promoting cultural, sports and commercial activities, etc ... combined with the exploitation of tourism services, serving the needs of sightseeing, entertainment of people as well as domestic and foreign tourists.

At the press conference, some reporters asked many questions about a set of Tien Giang smart tourism product ; the number of tourists to Tien Giang province on the occasion of the Festival; name of the Festival, etc ...

Speaking at the press conference, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Thanh Duc informed about the activities to take place at the Festival; at the same time, he answered many questions of reporters.
