Organizing "Towards island sea of homeland" camp festival

ABO - On February 25, at the Tan Thanh Border Guard post, the Tien Giang provincial Border Guard in collaboration with the Provincial Women's Union and the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Tien Giang province organized a camp festival under the theme: "Towards island, sea of homeland"on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the 60th anniversary of Traditional Day of Border Guard Force and the 30th anniversary of the Day of All-People Border Defence (March 3, 2019).

There were 16 sub-camps of urban district units, Tien Giang provincial Police Youth Union and Tien Giang provincial Military Command, Tien Giang University Youth Union with 320 participating camps attended the camp festival.

During the camp festival, the campers performed activities such as: the campaign to clean up the Tan Thanh coastline (Go Cong Dong district); the contest of beauty in the sea; the art contest with the theme of praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland island, border soldiers; the marine flavor cuisine festival such as: contest of pack ball, folk cake.

The camp aimed at contributing to raising the awareness and responsibility of youth union members, women and armed forces of the units as well as an opportunity for exchange units to learn experiences in direction activities to the island, linking solidarity between the army and the people, contributing to building a strong all-people border posture, raising the spirit of protecting the sovereignty and security of the sea border.
