A children's reading room opened

ABO - Tien Giang province Library opened a children's reading room with the theme "Improving reading culture for children in 2019", on April 10.

This activity was one of activities to respond to Vietnam Book Day (April 21).

The children’s reading room, located in the ground floor of the library, has been equipped with equipment and facilities for children to visit and read books with nearly 1,000 books of many categories such as: Science, history, culture, comics, etc... to serve elementary and middle school students. At the children's reading room of Tien Giang province Library, children also participated in fun activities such as quiz, storytelling and group activities, etc...

The establishment of the children’s reading room aims to encourage and develop the reading movement of students, besides raising their awareness of the great meaning and importance of reading to developing knowledge, skills, and developing thinking, educating and training human personality.

The children’s reading room of Tien Giang province Library opens on Saturdays and Sundays every week and throughout the summer of 2019 as expected to serve children and students.
