36 clubs participates in the national Pencak Silat club championship 2019

ABO – The national Pencak Silat Club Championship 2019 will be held from April 22-29 at the multidisciplinary gymnasium of the Tien Giang province Sports Coaching and Competition Center.

With the mandate of the General Department of Sports and Physical Education and the approval of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism hosted the national Pencak Silat Club Championship in 2019.

The tournament is one of the major competitions of Pencak Silat in the national competition system, bringing together numerous athletes to participate. This year's tournament has the participation of 36 clubs from 24 provinces and cities across the country with more than 300 athletes.

This year’s tournament includes 20 events for women in the 40kg-75kg weight categories and men in the 40kg-95kg weight categories.

As a tournament in the national system, this tournament brings together strong players in the whole country to join with strong athletes. In the content of demonstrating the rights is the strength of the units in the North such as Hanoi city, Hung Yen district, and the Public Security.

Tien Giang province participated in the tournament with 2 clubs of Pencak Silat team participating in the competition.
