The exhibition is part of the activities marking the 50th anniversary of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament.
On display are nearly 60 propaganda posters that were created and published after President Ho Chi Minh's death (1969-2011).
The exhibits are divided into four parts with respective themes: ‘Ho Chi Minh – Vietnamese nation’s soul’, ‘Ho Chi Minh – a talented militant and poet’, ‘Uncle Ho – a great love’ and ‘President Ho Chi Minh lives forever in the national construction and defence’.
On the occasion, a publication titled ‘Ho Chi Minh’s portrait – perspective from propaganda poster’, was released consisting of posters and several articles by fine arts researchers and painters.
The publication’s debut aims to help visitors learn more about the artistic style and historical and cultural values of Vietnamese propaganda posters.
The event will run until October 10.
