Tien Giang province to exhibit imprints of historical documents

ABO - According to the Tien Giang province Department of Home Affairs, Tien Giang province will exhibit imprints of historical documents from May 15 to May 19 as one of activities to celebrate 340 years of grand My Tho city and the 128th anniversary of Uncle Ho's birthday (May 19, 1890 - 2019).

The exhibition of Tien Giang province imprints of historical documents will be organized by the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee in coordination with the State Records Management and Archives Department under the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs.

The exhibition will display photos, maps, documents, archives on the history of formation and development of Tien Giang province in general and My Tho city in particular, from the reclamation period opened to the present day. In addition, the exhibition also featured typical victories during the war years as well as achievements in social and economic development in peacetime.

The exhibition will be five days from May 15 to May 19, 2019 in the Provincial Central Square, aiming to introduce the archives of the National Archives Center and promote Tien Giang province tourism and images.
