Hung Vuong street to be upgraded according to direction of civilization and modernity

ABO - On June 4, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee (PPC) Le Van Huong and  leaders of My Tho city surveyed the current status of Hung Vuong street as a basis for the project of renovation and upgrading to serve the process of urban embellishment according to direction of civilization and modernity.

As expected, the project of Hung Vuong street in the section of ward 1, My Tho city will be divided into two works including upgrading sidewalks and greenery decoration, lighting systems. As expected, the functional sector will carry out the removal of tree at risk of falling, unsafe traffic and planting new trees suitable for replacement, ensuring long-term planning.

In addition, the sidewalk will be renovated and embellished with pedestrian pits while the specialized branch will also study and invest in lighting systems, installing median strips for the main road connecting the center city center with the provincial central square.

It is expected that the project will be completed by the time before the Lunar New Year 2020 to create a mark on a civilized and modern city.

Through the survey, Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Department of Transport, the Board of Provincial Traffic Safety, the Management Board of Tien Giang province's civil and industrial construction investment and the My Tho city People's Committee to make detailed plans, getting people's opinions and submitting the Provincial People's Committee as a basis for implementing the project.
