Implementing the plan to organize large holidays in Tien Giang province

ABO - The Tien Giang provincial People's Committee has implemented a plan to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union establishment (July 28, 1929 - 2019), the festival of the national hero Truong Dinh and the festival of Culture - Tourism at the ancient village Dong Hoa Hiep. According to the plan, the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union establishment (July 28, 1929 - 2019) is expected to be held on July 26, 2019 at the Ap Bac Hall of the Tien Giang Conference Center with a scale of 600 delegates. The ceremony will have expected content such as: To visit the provincial martyr cemetery; cultural shows with special performances and broadcast live on the Tien Giang Radio & Television. The preparation work so far has been completed.

The plan to organize the festival of the national hero Truong Dinh's death is expected to take place in two days (Agust 19-20, 2019). The program includes the ceremony and the festival with many rich activities such as displaying and selling Go Cong specialties and agricultural products, displaying ancient landscapes, bonsai, competition activities, sports festivals, performing arts, etc…

On organizing the fourth festival of Culture - Tourism at the ancient village Dong Hoa Hiep in 2019 is expected that the festival will be held in 3 days (from November 10-12, 2019). In addition to the opening and closing program, the program will also have many activities such as: trade fairs consumer goods, exhibition of ornamental creatures; organizing folk cake making contest; forums to preserve and promote ancient villages; organizing exchanges with Japanese delegations, etc...

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Tien Giang provincial People's Committee Le Van Nghia requested the organization of festivals and celebrations to be prepared, carefully, solemnly, practically, efficiency and savings. In particular, in the coming time, the Dong Hoa Hiep ancient culture and tourism festival and Truong Dinh national hero festival should be included in the large holidays of the province. Particularly, the Dong Hoa Hiep ancient village needs to be invested with electricity and infrastructure to meet the demand of tourism development in the future.
