ASEAN-Japan Music Festival 2019 to be held
ABO/NDO – The ASEAN-Japan Music Festival 2019 will take place at the National Convention Centre, My Dinh, Hanoi, on July 28, with the participation of Vietnamese singers Noo Phuoc Thinh, Dong Nhi and Trong Hieu, as well as many international artistes.

With the name “Prayer for Peace”, it was co-organised by apan Foundation Asia Centre and the Vietnam Television (VTV), the festival features the participation of singers who represent ASEAN countries and Japan, such as Fakhrul Razi (Brunei), Andien (Indonesia), Exile Atsushi, Koda Kumi, Miura Daichi (Japan), Alexandra Bounxouei (Lao), Sai Sai Kham Leng (Myanmar), New Jiew (Thailand). The program is produced by Vietnam-Japan and Japan-Vietnam Special Ambassador Ryotaro Sugi, who is also Special Ambassador for Japan and ASEAN.
The festival is within the “Asian Resonance 2019” cultural series organized by the Japan Foundation Asia Center’s Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam. It’s also a special event to celebrate “ASEAN- Japanese Day”, initiated by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the Japan-ASEAN Summit last year.
The organising board expressed their hope through contemporary pop music exchanges, ASEAN countries will understand one another other better, thereby promoting mutual cooperation in the future.
The music festival will also be broadcast on VTV.
