Tien Giang province has more five 5 photographers in five years

ABO – The Tien Giang branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) held the congress for the term of 2019-2024, on the afternoon of August 23.

In the last term (2014-2019), the Tien Giang branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists organized many exciting activities, filling the local artistic photographic movement; the unit organized 7 refresher classes, 4 photographic creation camps for members inside and outside the branch with the professional support of experienced photographers from the VAPA. Thereby, photography lovers have gained more knowledge and experience in composing and processing images, etc...

In the past five years, the unit won many photos of national exhibitions, winning 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 2 bronze medals at the Mekong Delta region photo festival, etc… During the term (2014-2019), the unit admitted five new photographers.

The Congress elected the Executive Board of the new term (2019-2024) with 3 members including photographer Le Hai as Head of the branch with two deputy head of the branch as photographer Pham Duy Son and photographer Tran Cam Thanh.

The Congress also elected 9 delegates to attend the 9th Congress of VAPA (term 2019-2024)to take place in early December, 2016 in Hanoi.
