Tien Giang wins the team award at the Mekong Delta Region Art Photo Festival

ABO - With 20 works selected for exhibition with 2 consolation prizes, Tien Giang and Ca Mau and Tra Vinh provinces won the team award at the 34th Mekong Delta Region Art Photo Festival 2019 in Hau Giang province.

This is the annual traditional festival for provinces in the Mekong Delta region sponsored by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists. This year's festival attracted the participation of 274 authors with 2.000 works of 13 provinces in the Mekong Delta region for two types of color photos and white-black photos.

On August 17, the organizing board held a public photo at the administrative center of Hau Giang province and giving a prize including 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 3 bronze medals and 4 consolation prizes. Author Tran Quang Thang of Ca Mau province won a gold medal in color photos. Tran Thu An of Hau Giang province won a gold medal in black and white color.

Two consolation prizes of Tien Giang Photography Association belong to the “Clinging sea” work of Nguyen Minh Nguyen and the "Traditional vocation" work of Tran Thanh Hai.

This is the continuously second year that Tien Giang province has won the team award at the regional art festival.
