Art program recalls Uncle Ho's advice in his testament

ABO/NDO – An art programme was jointly held by Nhan Dan Newspaper and the management board of the Presidential Palace’s President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Hanoi Operate House on August 31 to mark the 50-year realisation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament (1969-2019).

The programme was attended by Phan Dinh Trac, Secretary of the Party Central Committee (PCC), Head of the Central Commission for Internal Affairs; Thuan Huu, PCC member, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, Deputy Head of the of the PCC’s Communication and Education Commission and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association; Tran Hong Ha, PCC member, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment; and many leaders of ministries, departments, sectors, as well as audiences.

The programme was led by Meritorious Artist Do Ky, as a storyteller, bringing the story from the last moments of President Ho Chi Minh, the painful pain of millions of Vietnamese people on September 2, 1969, until the struggle for independence, freedom and reunification of the whole Party, the entire people and our army that led to a exceptional victory in the spring of 1975. The whole history of Vietnam was recounted by moving songs and documentaries.

Besides, the image of the country today is firmly on the path of economic and social development, becoming one of the dynamic economies in the region, expanding relations with countries around the world, becoming the place to organise many important political and diplomatic events of the world. The clips and reports about the strong determination to build a truly clean and strong Party in accordance with President Ho Chi Minh's will and trust of people from all social strata into determination were also broadcast in the programme.

The programme also had the participation of a number of guests such as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trong Phuc, who is former Director of the Party History Institute; Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, President of Vietnam National Student Association, Bui Quang Huy.

In additional, the programme also features the participation of many famous singers and artists such as Do Ky, Quoc Hung, Anh Tho, Dinh Trang, Le Tuan Hao, along with artists, actors of Vietnam Contemporary Art Theatre.
