Hoa Hung recognized as new rural area

ABO – Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Tien Giang provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Chau Thi My Phuong; Head of Inspection Committee of Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tram; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee Nguyen Van Vinh; Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan, etc… attended the ceremony to announce Hoa Hung commune of Cai Be district recognized as new rural area, on December 12.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Pham Anh Tuan said that Hoa Hung is a commune with many advantages in developing high-value fruit gardens such as: Hoa Loc mango (nearly 600 hectares), Co Co grapefruit, longan, etc...

In addition, aquaculture is also the strength of the commune with an area of more than 10 hectares and about 120 aquaculture cages of all kinds. Besides, convenient transportation for transporting goods and agricultural products are conditions for people to develop trade and services as well as socio-economic development of the commune.

In recent years, the socio-economic situation of the commune has had many positive changes, the average income per capita increased to over 47 million VND/ year; the rate of poor households decreases to 1.98%.

Along with the economic development, the cultural and spiritual life of the people has also been improved step by step; cultural, physical and sport material facilities are interested in investing and upgrading; environmental landscape has been changing positively, etc…

At the ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee awarded an emulation flag and welfare project worth 1 billion VND to Hoa Hung commune. The Provincial People's Committee, Cai Be district People's Committee and Hoa Hung commune People's Committee rewarded many collectives and individuals for outstanding achievements in building new rural areas in the commune.
