Tien Giang wins two prizes of a short story writing contest on MeKong delta

ABO – The short story writing contest on MeKong delta in 2019, hosted by Dong Thap Literature and Arts Association, has just been awarded in Cao Lanh city.

After more than seven months of launching, the contest organizing committee received 114 short stories of 84 authors from the area participated in the contest.

There are 12 outstanding works to be selected to award. Author Nguyen Phuoc Thao in Dong Thap province wins the first prize with his work as "Căn cơ".

The second prizes are awarded to "Đường về xa xôi” by author Truc Hain Ca Mau province  and "Người họa sĩ giữa dòng trôi” by author Truong Thi Thanh Hien in An Giang province.

Authors Nguyen Thanh Xuan in Tien Giang province, Thanh Ha in Dong Thap province and Le Quang Trang in An Giang province win the third prize.

In addition, the organizing committee also gave the consolation prize to author Le Ai Siem in Tien Giang province and fiev other authors.
