Bookcase "Protecting Party's ideological foundation" launched
ABO/NDO - The Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House organised a launch ceremony for the Bao Ve Nen Tang Tu Tuong Cua Dang (Protecting the ideological foundation of the Party) bookcase and a seminar to introduce the book series Bien Nien Su Kien Lich Su Dang Cong San Viet Nam (Chronicle of historical events of the Communist Party of Vietnam) in Hanoi on February 3.
The bookcase includes more than 160 titles, divided into the topics of: works of President Ho Chi Minh; research books on the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and his great contributions to the cause of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution; research books on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; books on the history of the Party; the construction of the Party and the political system in the current period; books on the leaders of the Party, the State, the predecessors of the Vietnamese revolution; socialism and the path towards socialism in Vietnam; and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

The bookcase is located on December 19 Book Street and will be updated and supplemented on a regular basis.
Pham Thi Thinh, Deputy Director, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Su That National Political Publishing House, said that the bookcase provides documents in a systematic way to help Party cadres, members, and the people, especially young people, become fully aware of protecting the Party's ideological foundation and thereby have appropriate and effective directions and measures to fight against wrong or hostile views, contributing to firmly defending the Party's ideological foundation and bringing the Party's resolutions and directives to life more quickly and effectively.
On the occasion, a seminar to introduce the book series Bien Nien Su Kien Lich Su Dang Cong San Viet Nam (Chronicle of historical events of the Communist Party of Vietnam) was organised.
The book series summarises typical historical events, comprehensively reflecting the leadership of the Party through revolutionary periods, from when leader Nguyen Ai Quoc set off to find a way to save the country, absorbing the light of Marxism-Leninism, to promoting the workers' movement and patriotic movement, until 2010.
Within the seminar, the speakers and scientists focused on clarifying the basic content, value, and significance of compiling and publishing the book, as well as on analysing the value and profound meaning of a number of typical and outstanding events in the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
