Despite the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the contest received the enthusiastic participation of students, with more than 336,500 submissions, making it the largest-scale contest for children having been held in Vietnam so far.
The organising board decided to award 15 first, 15 second, 30 third and 90 consolation prizes to the most outstanding entries.
According to a jury member, the entries were mostly equal in quality, and the entrants showcased their creativity and imagination in highlighting the messages of their paintings.
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been organised annually by the Toyota Motor Corporation since 2004. In Vietnam, since the 2011-2012 school year, the initiative has become one of the largest drawing contests nationwide with about 5 million entries following its 11 editions.
Vietnam is one of the countries with the highest achievements in the international competition, winning one gold, one silver, a bronze and four consolation prizes so far.
