Photo exhibition marks the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day
ABO/NDO – A photo exhibition officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 26 commemorating the 75th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947-2022).
The exhibition takes place at three venues on Nguyen Hue and Dong Khoi streets and the area opposite Chi Lang Park.
On Nguyen Hue and Dong Khoi streets, 72 valuable photos and documents are on display to highlight President Ho Chi Minh’s sentiments and attention to wounded and fallen soldiers, relatives of fallen soldiers and revolutionary contributors.

The exhibits also recalled the activities held to support the revolutionary contributors as well as literary and artistic creation campaigns honouring heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes, fallen soldiers and revolutionary families.
At the same time, the area opposite Chi Lang Park is a photo exhibition themed “Paying homage to heroes and fallen soldiers, Ho Chi Minh City is proud to follow forefathers’ footsteps”.
The heroic soldiers, who devoted themselves to the fight for national independence and freedom, are shining examples for younger generations to follow.
The exhibition also praises heroic Vietnamese mothers, wounded soldiers and families of revolutionary contributors, who have overcome all difficulties to stabilise their lives and make great contributions to Ho Chi Minh City’s socio-economic development and international integration.
The exhibition will last until August 6.
