Ho Chi Minh City art programme marks 1968 General Offensive and Uprising
ABO/NDO- An art programme was held in Ho Chi Minh City on January 6 to mark the 55th anniversary of the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1968.
The programme was attended by Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen.
The experiences from the Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1968 became profound and meaningful historical lessons which acted as a general rehearsal for the victories achieved by the whole army and people in the following years.

The Mau Than General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1968 was a shining symbol of the unyielding will and strength of the Vietnamese army and people, the spirit of independence, self-control and creativity, and the Party’s tact in leading the revolutionary struggle from the spring of 1968 to the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign in the spring of 1975 and the peaceful and happy springs later.
The programme, which was divided into three chapters, featured various dances and songs about the historic and proud period of the nation.
Those who attended programme had the chance to meet and exchange with the individuals who directly participated in the 1968 General Offensive and Uprising.
