Binh Dinh organises various tourism events in 2023

ABO/NDO- A wide variety of tourism and cultural activities will be held in the south-central coastal province of Binh Dinh in 2023, contributing to promoting the image of the locality to both domestic and international friends.

Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Information and Communications, held a press conference to announce the events during the 2023 Binh Dinh Tourism Festival.

Some notable events will be the opening ceremony of the 2023 Binh Dinh Tourism Festival themed “Quy Nhon – Sea Paradise – Brilliant Colours”, a hot-air balloon festival, the final of the Miss World Vietnam 2023, VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2023, Quy Nhon-Binh Dinh Street Festival 2023, the first Tourism Gift Festival and an art and photo exhibition themed “Binh Dinh Tourism – Brilliant and Colourful”.

The most special activity will be the international hot-air balloon festival from April 25 to May 5, 2023. This will be the first time a hot-air balloon festival has been held in the province.

Over the past years, Binh Dinh’s tourism sector has recorded strong development and has become an attractive destination. The province welcomed an estimated 1.26 million visitors in the first quarter of this year, a year-on-year increase of 33%. The locality’s revenue from tourism reached about 2.625 billion VND (nearly 112 million USD), double the same period last year.

Binh Dinh has set a target of receiving 5 million visitors in 2023 with revenue of 16,400 billion VND.
