Tea culture and tourism week opens in Hanoi
ABO/NDO- A tea culture and tourism week, jointly organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangxi province, China, in coordination with the Vietnam - China Friendship Association, Hanoi branch, opened in Hanoi on May 21.
China and Vietnam are two neighbouring countries that share the cultural value of tea.

Tea plays an important role in the development of Vietnam-China relations, especially the tea ceremony, which has become a prominent highlight of exchanges between senior leaders of the two countries.
Tea culture and tourism week features two main groups of activities including a photo exhibition on the unique natural heritage of Guangxi and an introduction and exchange about Vietnamese and Chinese tea, with tea-making techniques and related customs.
The event is scheduled to run until May 27.
