RoK's guitar prodigy to tour Vietnam

ABO/NDO- The guitar prodigy from the Republic of Korea (RoK), Sungha Jung, will tour Vietnam performing three shows from July 14-16, contributing to enhancing the cultural exchange between Vietnam and the RoK.

The shows will take place at the Tuoi Tre (Youth) Theatre in Hanoi on July 14, the VOH Music One Theatre in Ho Chi Minh City on July 15 and Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong (classical drama) Theatre in Da Nang City on July 16.

The shows are expected to be attractive cultural and art events for music lovers, especially the guitar fingerstyle community in Vientam.

The guitarist promises to bring the audience a new, youthful, sophisticated and emotional musical space with his compositions and arrangements.

This is also the first time Sunga Jung will covers theVietnamese song “See tinh” by singer Hoang Thuy Linh on his YouTube channel.

Sungha Jung has been dubbed a “guitar prodigy” of the RoK and became famous quite quickly, especially on YouTube with nearly 2 billion views and 7.1 million followers.

With Vietnamese audiences, Sungha Jung has been well-known mainly through his music on YouTube for more than 15 years. He is the first foreign fingerstyle guitarist to tour Vietnam.
