Training course opens to enhance management of literature and art activities

ABO/NDO- The Central Council for the Theory and Criticism of Literature and the Arts opened a training course in Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak province on August8 to enhance awareness and management of literature and arts activities.

The event gathered the participation of leaders and heads of local committees of communication and education, local associations of literature and arts, and publishing houses, as well as journalists and reporters at press agencies and lecturers of universities and colleges majoring in literature and arts.

In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen The Ky, Chairman of the Central Council for the Theory and Criticism of Literature and the Arts, said that it has been 15 years since the Politburo’s Resolution 23-NQ/TW, on further developing literature and arts took effect, stressing that the resolution reflected the Party’s innovation of thinking on managing literature and arts activities.

He stated that the training course aimed to help participants thoroughly grasp Party and State’s guidelines and policies on literature and arts, particularly the Politburo’s Resolution 23-NQ/TW, as well as the current situation of literature and arts in our country.

The event is designed to increase the participants’ awareness and management of literature and arts activities, thus contributing to fighting against wrong allegations in this field and safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation.
