National Jujitsu Championship opens in Binh Duong
ABO/NDO- The 2023 National Jujitsu Championship officially opened at the Centre for Physical Training and Sports of the southern province of Binh Duong on September 7.
Taking place from September 6-10, the event has brought together more than 300 athletes from 26 provinces, cities, and sectors, across the country. They are competing for 62 sets of medals.
Speaking at the opening Ceremony, the Deputy Director of the Binh Duong Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Head of the Organising Committee of the 2023 National Jujitsu Championship, said that the event is expected to create favourable conditions for athletes to compete and exchange experiences, to improve their achievements, and at the same time help the coaching boards of provinces, cities and sectors, review their forces to prepare for the 10th National Sports Festival, in 2026.

Jujitsu is a sport that has been competed in international arenas such as Asiad, Youth Olympics, SEA Games and official tournaments in South America, Europe, Asia, etc. Therefore, the Jujitsu movement has been growing strongly in the world, with the participation of an increasingly large number of people who love this sport.
In recent years, Jujitsu has developed quite rapidly in provinces, cities and industries across the country; Binh Duong province is one of the localities that has invested quite effectively and gained many achievements in domestic and international arenas, thereby contributing positively and effectively, to the overall achievements of the national Jujitsu team in the past time.
