Red River Delta region fine arts exhibition opens
ABO/NDO- The Red River Delta region fine arts exhibition 2023 opened at Hung Yen Provincial Museum, on August 31.
Co-organised by Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Fine Arts Association, the event is one of the activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2); and an annual activity of artists from nine provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region.
The exhibition introduces 198 works by 186 authors, members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, and members and collaborators of the Union of Literature and Arts Associations of provinces and cities of Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Thai Binh, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Quang Ninh and Hai Phong City.
These are new works created from July 2022 to June 2023.

Appreciating the quality of the works participating in the exhibition, Vice Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duy Hung affirmed, that each work has the unique beauty of localities in the region.
The works also give viewers a panoramic view of the innovation of the homeland and the country, truly reflecting the lives of people in the Red River Delta region, in socio-economic development.
The Organizing Committee chose to award two B prizes to Nguyen Thai Co (Hung Yen) and Nguyen Tien Quan (Hai Duong). In addition, three C prizes and six consolation prizes were also awarded to the winners.
The exhibition takes place until September 10.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fine Arts Association awarded the 2023 Medal for the Cause of Vietnamese Fine Arts to many groups and individuals.
