Nhan Dan launches Dien Bien Phu interactive panorama exhibition
ABO/NDO- Nhan Dan Newspaper has launched an interactive panorama exhibition on the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.
The exhibition is free and open to all visitors from 9 am to 5 pm each day from May 7-12 at two locations: Nhan Dan headquarters at 71 Hang Trong Street, Hanoi, and Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum in Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province.
The event is part of Nhan Dan’s special coverage of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory’s 70th anniversary, which launched a dedicated website to the victory on March 13.
Nhan Dan Editor-in-chief Le Quoc Minh said this is an innovation effort, as well as the responsibility of the leading Party newspaper in communicating the country’s important events. |
The highlight of the coverage is the Nhan Dan issue to be published on May 7, 2024, which will feature a 12-page supplement, where the whole panorama of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, with over 4,500 characters currently on display at the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum, will be printed on four pages.
Readers can cut the pages and combine them into a panorama measuring up to 3.21 metres long – a print newspaper record – for display in a living room or a public space.
Tech enthusiasts also have the option to scan the QR codes on the panorama or download an augmented reality app for an interactive experience.
Those without the May 7 issue of Nhan Dan, can enjoy a similar experience by visiting the exhibition, which features a circular panorama that is 5.5 metres in diameter and 3 metres high.
The supplement is free to visitors at both exhibition locations on the opening day.
