The coach shared his assessment of the team’s opponents, noting that the first match is always a tough one.
Regarding Myanmar, he mentioned that while the coaching staff have limited information on the team's playing style, they have devised tactics to counter Myanmar’s advantages in physical strength and height.
He acknowledged that subsequent opponents are equally competitive, especially Thailand - a particularly strong team in the region. Given the tight match schedule, he emphasised the need to approach each game carefully, with the aim of achieving the best possible results.
Vietnam will start with a technical meeting and pre-tournament press conference on November 16 before facing a tough lineup in the tournament.
The squad will open against Myanmar on November 17, followed by matches against Indonesia, hosts the Philippines, and Thailand on November 18, 19, and 20, respectively.
