Winners of Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024 awarded
ABO/NDO- A total of 20 champion cups along with 45 gold, 74 silver, and 127 bronze medals have been presented to the best bakers and chefs attending the Vietnam Bakery Cup 2024.
The competition, which took place from December 11 to 14 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, attracted nearly 500 professional bakers, chefs, and culinary artists from Vietnam and other countries, including the Republic of Korea, China, and Malaysia.

Speaking at the closing ceremony on December 14, Nguyen Thi Khanh, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association, hailed that the competition provided an opportunity for Vietnamese chefs to showcase their pastries to international chefs.
She noted with pleasure that Vietnamese cuisine has ranked highly on the world map in recent years, with local specialties like pastries enriching Vietnam's culinary treasure trove.
According to Tran Thi Hien Minh, Vice President of the Saigon Professional Chefs Association, this is the first time an international standard baking competition has been organised in Vietnam, receiving high praise from foreign chefs.
She said that in the near future, Vietnam is expected to become a hub for pastry production for countries around the world, stressing that Vietnamese chefs have significantly elevated their skills and are confident in the international arena.
