Vietnam bags second gold medal at 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championships
ABO/NDO- Cyclist To Hoang Khanh Lan won the gold medal for Vietnam in the women’s master road race event at the 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championships, which are taking place in Thailand from February 7 to 16.
This marks the second gold medal for the Vietnamese team at the event, followed by the first one secured by Hoang Hai Nam in the men’s individual time trial for athletes over 60 years old.

Lan, along with teammates Hoang Thi Hang, Truong Thi Quynh, and Pham Minh Nhan, competed against strong rivals from Thailand, Hong Kong (China), Iraq, Pakistan, and Mongolia.
Meanwhile, her teammates Hoang Thi Hang, Truong Thi Quynh, and Pham Minh Nhan brought home bronze medals.
The 2025 Asian Road Cycling Championships have attracted the participation of nearly 500 cyclists, including professional national teams, U23 and U18 youth teams, and senior athletes competing in the master events.
It serves as a qualifying event for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, with competitors from over 30 countries and territories expected to participate.
