Book on Great Spring Victory in 1975 released

ABO/NDO- The Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House has released a book titled "Great Spring Victory in 1975 – The Heroic Epic of the Ho Chi Minh Era", as part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the South liberation and national reunification (April 30, 1975 –2025).

The book compiles 50 articles by various authors, experts, and researchers from inside and outside Vietnam, previously published in prestigious journals such as the Political Theory Journal, Military History Journal, Party History Journal, and Xua va Nay (Past and Present) Journal. These writings provide a comprehensive and multi-dimensional perspective on the greatest victory in modern Vietnamese history.

The book is structured into three parts “Leadership of the Party and the State”, “Key Developments and Decisive Factors on the Battlefield”, and “Historical Significance of the Great Spring Victory in 1975”.

The book not only recounts the resounding victories of the Vietnamese army and people, such as the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign and major battles in Tay Nguyen, Quang Tri, Hue, and Saigon but also clarifies the leadership role of the Party and State in building strategy and making crucial decisions that led the resistance to final victory.
