Exhibition introduces art of cover design for books, newspapers, and magazines

ABO/NDO- An exhibition introducing the art of cover design for books, newspapers, and magazines is being held in Ha Noi by the Viet Nam Fine Arts Association as part of an annual series honouring cover design artists.

Works on display include hundreds of designs by famous artists such as Van Sang, Tran Dai Thang, Le Tri Dung, and Do Ngoc Dung as well as students from art colleges and universities.

The exhibition is opening up a vibrant art space connecting generations of artists, designers, students, and young people embarking on careers in graphic design.

Within the framework of the exhibition, a seminar entitled ‘Cover Design – From Inspiration to Practice’ will be held at 9 AM on June 22, during which artists will share behind-the-scenes stories, valuable experiences, and future design trends.

According to experts, nowadays, the cover is the element that shapes the initial impression, guides perception, and evokes emotions in the readers of the content within.

For many publishing houses, the cover is now an indispensable visual strategy. A good design can determine sales performance, brand positioning, media coverage, and even increase competitiveness against translated or international books.

The event will run until June 22 at the Exhibition House No 16 Ngo Quyen Street, Hoan Kiem District, Ha Noi.
