Viet Nam community culture development association established

ĐTO/NDO- The Viet Nam Community Culture Development Association was officially established at the Viet Nam Institute of Culture, Arts, Sports and Tourism, on August 17, with its inaugural congress.

The Association was founded under Decision No. 677/QD-BNV dated July 1, 2025 issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Its goal is to build the Association into a strong social organisation, serving as a trusted bridge between communities and state management agencies, as well as other social organisations. It aims to preserve, promote and spread both traditional and contemporary cultural values, foster cultural creativity, and link community cultural development with socio-economic growth, ensuring harmony between continuity and innovation, tradition and modernity, preservation and development.

In the coming period, the Association’s tasks include building and consolidating its organisational structure, streamlining and strengthening personnel for greater efficiency, preserving and promoting community cultural values, encouraging cultural creativity and innovation, and developing professional expertise.

At the congress, the Association adopted its Charter, elected a 15-member Executive Committee, a three-member Supervisory Board, and a five-member Standing Committee.

Key leadership positions for the 2025–2030 term were also elected, including Professor Dr Tu Thi Loan as President, with Dr Van Dinh Ung and MSc Tran Thi Hang Nga serving as Vice Presidents.
