MyClass: A new way to study English for adults

British Council Vietnam just introduced myClass - a new way to study English for adults. It is a regional product from the British Council, and is currently available in Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, and now Vietnam.

MyClass is a flexible way for you to develop your English to meet your academic, career, or personal goals. Students can freely choose the class date and time, topic and teacher (3T’s) to best suit your schedule and your interests. You can also reap the benefits of face-to-face lessons with qualified expert English language teachers.

It offers 100% face-to-face lessons with a qualified English language teacher in British Council’s teaching centers in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city. To add value to your classroom studies, myClass allows students to access online activities specifically designed to complement your classroom based lessons and help you make progress as fast as possible.

Students do not have to commit to a fixed schedule; instead myClass allows learners to log onto the online booking system (OBS) to book classes at times which suit you.

You can also change this booking as necessary, or cancel up to 24 hours before the class starts, therefore, you don’t need to worry about missing a lesson due to unexpected events, like working overtime or being sent on a business trip overseas. The OBS also allows you to check your progress and access your online activities.

With myClass, students can choose lessons which meet your needs. Each level is organised into several topics which have been carefully selected to reflect real-life situations. Classes are based around practical language tasks, with a focus on skills that are necessary for the workplace as well as in our social lives, and for international exams such as IELTS.

Alongside myClass, British Council Vietnam is also launching myClub - our free social program, designed to help you have fun with your language learning; myClub is made up of cultural and social events to help you practise your English with new friends outside class.
