President Sang sends congratulatory message to education sector
President Truong Tan Sang has send a letter to congratulate the education sector ahead of the 2014-2015 academic year.

He said the upcoming academic year is the first year that the Party resolution on comprehensive educational reform will be implemented, in order to meet the country’s needs for modernisation and international integration.
In his letter, the president praised the education sector for their achievements in the 2013-2014 academic year, notably its great reform efforts and success of Vietnamese students at international science competitions.
He urged the sector to build on previous achievements, to further improve the quality of education in Vietnam and called on the entire society to create more favourable conditions for children’s learning.
President Sang extended his sympathy for teachers in offshore islands and remote regions, who have made great sacrifices to bring a better future for their students.
He also called on students, the future owners of the country, to work hard and actively take part in social activities during their time at school and college, to gain valuable experience that can boost their career and help them make substantial contributions to the nation.
